Gaggenau, the luxury brand for professional grade home appliances, introduces its latest innovation: the Essential Induction cooktop, a cooktop where the LED ‘dot’, the worktop surface, and the performance knob are all that are visible. The model is designed to integrate exclusively with Dekton stone countertops. These ultra-compact, stain- and scratch-resistant surfaces are available in 60 finishes, designs and colours to complement any kitchen design.

Gaggenau’s distinctive front-mounted performance knobs assist users throughout the cooking process. The dot, a smart centre light within the cooking zone, shows the user where to place the cookware, warns of residual heat and vanishes when not in use, transforming the cooktop island into a versatile area suitable for preparation, serving, dining, working and socialising.

In addition, to ensure efficient cooking, Gaggenau has developed removable magnetic surface protectors for the customer’s existing cookware. These protectors not only mitigate any noise of the pan moving across the stone surface and safeguard the worktop but also ensure the conductivity of the induction modules, guaranteeing optimal cooking performance. The Essential Induction cooktop offers the full Gaggenau capabilities: keep warm and boost functions and an illuminated performance knob in stainless steel or black. Gaggenau, the luxury brand for professional-grade home appliances, announces the launch of a new flagship in Paris, which joins a host of openings across Europe, Asia, North America and Australia boasting a brand-new design aesthetic. Situated in the heart of the Saint-Germain district, the new Gaggenau Paris flagship features contemporary design, inspired by the local architectural context. As a sensory experience hub, the Paris location will host private culinary tastings and features a wine bar for events. In addition, a dedicated space will showcase the artisans and producers behind the brand’s culinary, viniculture and design initiative ‘Respected By Gaggenau’. Another multi-purpose space, called “The Difference”, will allow visitors to fully immerse themselves in the essence of the brand.

Gaggenau opened the first of its new concept flagships in Brussels and Amsterdam in 2022, followed by the Shanghai flagship, and now plans to expand further, with additional locations in the United States and Canada through 2023. For the event, the company will take over the glass pavilion at Villa Necchi Campiglio and invite international architects, designers and kitchen professionals to experience its interactive ‘A Statement of Form’ installation from Tuesday 7th until Saturday 11th June. According to Gaggenau, visitors will be encouraged to network, build connections and share ideas whilst enjoying the comapany’s hospitality and a series of ground-breaking public and private talks, Q&As and social events throughout the week.

A Statement of Form is a bold departure from the brand’s previous EuroCucina offerings. It spans 360 sq feet, creating a structure that brings together the key elements of Gaggenau’s promise and purpose. ‘A Statement of Form’ design experience is a special event that Gaggenau, the luxury brand of professional-grade home appliances, will present as a part of Milan Design Week in June 2022. The brand will take over the glass pavilion of the Villa Necchi Campiglio museum, in the heart of the city, to present the initiative, that will be open to visitors of the world-renowned design festival for five days from Tuesday 7th until Saturday 11th June 2022.

For over a decade, Gaggenau has exhibited as part of Salone del Mobile’s biennial international kitchen furniture exhibition, EuroCucina. Great satisfaction for Gaggenau, the German luxury brand for professional-grade home appliances, which announced the launch of four new ‘bricks and mortar’ flagship stores and showrooms after a positive year of sales in 2021, closed by the brand with a more than a 10% uplift in sales. Gaggenau will open two flagship stores in Shanghai and Paris. Openings are the openings are scheduled respectively in autumn 2021 and January 2022. They will be the first to feature a brand-new design and concept, created in collaboration with German architecture firm 1zu33. Other showrooms to boast the new concept design are located in Amsterdam launching in September and Brussels at the end of the year.

Each of the new openings will present sophisticated locations and local contexts in their design and architecture. Furthermore, experiential kitchen and living space scenarios will present Gaggenau appliances in a brand new way. Different materials, looks and finishes, which are representative of real-world, sophisticated living environments are supplied through collaborations with likeminded, highly respected brands, including interior wood fittings from Schotten & Hansen, modern furniture from Walter Knoll and lighting installations from Occhio.

Black and hi-tech, a combination that characterizes many of the new proposals arriving from the big manufacturers of kitchen home applicnes. We are speaking about devices that, besides expressing their quality through a distinctive and increasingly performant technology, do it also, and above all, connoting themselves from an aesthetic point of view. The result is a formal convergence towards a contemporary finish with a timeless matrix, which is a candidate to become the 2021 must have color: matte black. Black, in fact, a refined shade by definition, has become the trendy nuance also in the kitchen environment, characterizing all its elements, generating residential micro-architectures that play with the alternation of dark colors and lighter shades.

The Infinite Line range by Samsung uses material elements, giving unique sensations to the touch, and extraordinary technology. The finish is characterized by a satin glass and an opaque texture, in harmony with the most modern kitchen furnishings; the Onyx Black version is characterized by a glass that becomes mirrored, night black. To keep it always perfect, a special anti-fingerprint coating has been added to prevent the formation of unpleasant halos. The Infinite Line oven was born from the meeting between Samsung Dual Cook technology and steam. This allows to cook simultaneously with steam and traditionally during the same cooking session.

Perfect integration for the new ovens of the Excellence Line (V2000, V4000 and V6000) by V-Zug, which are also characterized by the extreme ease of use. They can be used quickly and intuitively thanks to CircleSlider, the button located in the center of the large touch display. In the kitchen without handles, the AutoDoor function, which sees the door opening and closing automatically, allows the appliance to integrate perfectly. The oven is available in two shades: black and platinum and, thanks to the use of the mirrored glass of the fronts, it reflects colors and materials of the environment in which it is inserted. High-tech design and a deeply intuitive technology helping in all the steps: the new induction hob of the Mythos collection by Franke is characterized by 8 cooking zones, double Lcd touch control display, 63 automatic recipes, Flex Pro zone and French Plaque zone, the all enclosed in a total black glass hob in two sizes: 77 cm or 65 cm. The double Lcd display, with central slider, guides the creation of dishes from the moment the hob is switched on, allowing to easily select the cooking zone to be used and the power to be set from 1 to 18 (with indication of the type of cooking for which the selected power is recommended). To speed up times, up to 4 Cookassist cooking can be started at the same time or combined with traditional cooking.

The color palette of the KitchenAid planetary mixer is very rich. Implemented every year by new and special colors, it also includes a beautiful matt black cast iron. Among the induction hobs of the Gaggenau range, Full Surface Induction offers the freedom of cook on the whole surface with precision and the help of many forefront functions. The model of the series can be fitted flush or on the worktop and offer a space of 3200 cm2 or 2750 cm2 upon which to place up to six or five pans or a Teppan Yaki accessory. The big advantage, in fact, is that there is no separate cooking zone: it is a 90 or 80 cm of limitless space. Users can move the pans around and the timer and setting will follow them. The Full surface induction’s large TFT touch display is intuitive and features 17 power levels, the timers and even compatible hood settings using its home connect capabilities.The CX492100 model of the 400 series (in the picture) is a frameless full surface induction hob with width of 90 cm. The Gaggenau 200 series offers a wide range of choices in the kitchen. This brand collection, in fact, is composed by different kind of products, such as the downdraft and cooktop with integrated ventilation, wall-mounted and island hoods, the ceiling choices of integrated, surface-mounted and free hanging ceiling ventilation, or the invisible canopy extractors and flat kitchen hoods hidden within kitchen units. Most extractors provide high-powered illumination as well as recirculated or externally vented air flow. They can also be manually controlled or function on automatic; self-adjusting the fan speed depending on the fumes they detect. Their highly effective grease filters are easily removable and suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher.
