Fifteen years ago, Kartell presented its own Museum, a location where the company, since then, has been showing its prestigious Italian design, displaying its most famous products. Today, the museum has been completely renewed, with a new total black look that creates a more dramatic and evocative atmosphere. The culture of the design project embraces the Kartell lifestyle and the latest generation digital communications technologies. A permanent exhibition, special projects and installations are set in the framework of a curatorial project and layout. The new museum chooses to tell its story through integrated approaches: theme tours, special focuses on certain products or unique pieces find their way into the more traditional chronological route to help visitors appreciate some particularly symbolic stages in the company’s history. Spotlights, large showcases for products, blowups of advertising campaigns, vintage and artistic photographs and video projections: these are some of the components of the exhibition setup.
