Samsung Electronics America organized a four-day showcase of premium home appliance during the 2018 edition of Architectural Digest Design Show (ADDS). The company’s booth is divided in two distinct areas – one dedicated to its Chef Collection line of premium built-in kitchen appliances, while the other enhance the smart and connected solutions such as the new 2018 Family Hub refrigerator. The Architectural Digest Design Show, now in its 17th year, records approximately 40,000 attendees and gathers innovations in kitchen, bath, furniture, accessories, lighting, and art.
As previously announced by the Group, the interest in built-in sector is very high in the Samsung strategy that is presenting its Chef Collection, a sophisticated suite of cooktops, pro ranges, wall ovens, hoods, dishwashers and refrigerators – including the industry’s first 42” 4-Door Flex model – lets home chefs handle the preparation of any meal with proficiency and style, whether they are 5 course, 5 minute or 5 ingredient cooks. The range also integrates Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities for seamless control and monitoring of the cooking process via smartphone.
«The built-in category is a fast-growing area of opportunity for us – said Tom Halford, Vice President, Premium & Builder, Home Appliance, Samsung Electronics America – and we’ve made some significant inroads over the past couple of years. Chef Collection is our latest introduction for the category, bringing smart technology and beautiful design that is meaningful and caters to how consumers live their lives today.»
