BSH Hausgeräte GmbH announced the appointment of Carla Kriwet as CEO of the company, effective July 1, 2020. In this capacity, she will be responsible for the global business of the home appliance manufacturer with more than 60,000 employees. Carla Kriwet arrived to the German company from the Philips, bringing many years’ experience in business with technologically sophisticated products and services. At Philips, Kriwet is a member of the Executive Committee and has held various management positions there over the past years. Since 2017, she has been in charge of the Connected Care cluster, where she is also responsible for digital innovations. The married mother of three children is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Save the Children Germany and already spent time in Africa as a volunteer aid worker before commencing her studies.
