The Boffi Georgetown showroom doubles the floor space dedicated to Boffi|DePadova, bringing together all the brands in the group under one roof. Boffi Georgetown, located at 3320 M Street, NW, Washington DC 20007, now features the unique collections of the Boffi|DePadova group and its Made in Italy brands, including the contemporary furnishings of De Padova. The showroom presents one location for the comprehensive offerings that emphasize Italian know-how.

The revamped and expanded display occupies 583 sqm and presents a way of living modeled around the kitchen, bathroom and wardrobe systems from Boffi, the partitions from ADL, the pieces from De Padova and its partnerships, including Paul Smith + De Padova for the EVERYDAY LIFE collection, as well as the inspiring furnishings from Time & Style ēdition of Japan.

«Located in Cady’s Alley in Georgetown’s design district, the new Boffi|DePadova exhibition space is the perfect setting for the group and its brands – Boffi says –. With its more than 140 years of history Bertazzoni has been included in the Register of Historic Italian Companies, sponsored by the National Union of Chambers of Commerce. «The presence in this prestigious national archive – the company commented – which collects the historic enterprises of our country, confirms the value and importance of Bertazzoni in the Italian historic and business panorama and helps to further enrich the company’s storytelling, consolidating its role as a protagonist in the industrial history of our country».

Glem Gas is more and more committed in reducing its enviromental impact. The company has recently announced the intention of embarking on the path of carbon neutrality, containing its carbon footprint. As it explains, «to fulfill the process of balancing the carbon dioxide emissions produced and the development of action plans aimed at their compensation, Glem Gas has set itself the goal of obtaining continuous improvements and concrete results for the protection of the environment along its entire supply chain productive, also through raising the awareness of its employees. Having therefore established the intention of minimizing the quantity of energy withdrawn from the grid and consequently also reducing CO2 emissions, the next step was to join the project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund which blends perfectly with the corporate vision of Economy, Society and Environment that Glem Gas has.

During 2023, with the contribution of the ENERGY FUND of the Emilia-Romagna Region, the installation of a photovoltaic system with a power of 399.84kW composed of over 700 panels was carried out and a revamping was carried out on an existing system since 2010 with a power of 150.00kWp, thus implementing 50% energy efficiency for its infrastructures. «This important action allows us to produce clean energy starting from the sun, as it is a natural and renewable source, and more precisely provides: production of 469,740 kWh of electricity every year, corresponding to 70 TOE/year (double compared to what has been produced up to now); reduction of CO2 emissions, more precisely 95.8 t/year of CO2 avoided; reduction of oil consumption in the production cycle, avoiding the annual production of 221,000 liters of oil».

Arrital is a brand that operates in the kitchen design sector, representing values of contemporary design, Made in Italy, research and the ability to design innovative solutions and quality products. Among the company most interesting project, we can find Nautila. Design by Franco Driusso, the kitchen is inspired by a logarithmic sequence to create an architecture of images.

It offers different choices of finishes and details. Nautila-01, for example, features an aluminium profile that, in keeping with the entire Nautila project, angled at 45 degrees, creates a handy grip for opening the doors (also available with a straight edge). The base units with the practical pull-out open drawer in Oak Thermocooked are fitted with LED lighting.

The shelves in the large Gem Plus display units are available with or without built-in lighting. Optional recessed LED lighting can be added on the inner side panels of the tall units.

The evolution of Aran Lab13 continues in the refinement of materials and in the choice of minimal lines. The new Lab13 invite is to guarantee more ease and practicality in a place where the whole family can share moments of everyday life. An invite that is reflected in the more and more sustainable choice of the Made in Italy by Aran Cucine: quality and expertise are the keys through which the Abruzzan company continues to portray the kitchen as an open laboratory.

To accommodate all the guests, the kitchen features a central island composed by two blocks: one, squared and monolithic, dedicated to the wash area with a single-bowl sink integrated into the Gres Barro Satin worktop, and the other of the same size designed as a cooking area with the induction hob. The linearity of the two monoblocs is interrupted by the wooden snack area, positioned in the middle but slightly below.

Eucalyptus and Gres Barro Satin, used for the worktops, and the Ewood Oak wood of the rectangular support surface here presented with truly comfortable dimensionscreate an attractive dialogue between materials. The snack structure undermines the American imaginary to fully enter within the Italian tradition reality, offering a conviviality place for the whole family to create an “unique space”.

Boffi|DePadova recently opened a new showroom in San Diego, California (Usa). The new Boffi|DePadova Studio San Diego is a space of 350-sqm, realized is a collaboration with Abitare 18 California designed to perfectly showcase an evocative selection of some of the group’s most iconic pieces.

The experience blends the past with the present, the cutting-edge technologies of Boffi and ADL with the refined creativity of De Padova and its collaborations.

Cesar, the Italian kitchen manufacturer, has expanded its presence in the British market, inaugurating, during the London Design Week, a new exhibition space at Chelsea Harbour’s Design Centre, the largest of its kind in Europe, with 120 showrooms and more than 600 of the most prestigious international luxury brands.

The space, created in collaboration with Cesar’s long-standing partner Espresso Design, showcases the primary compositions that embody the company’s new creative path: Tangram (the latest Garcia-Cumini project), Maxima 2.2, N_Elle, Intarsio, the Dressup system and Williamsburg workstation. These series allow visitors to explore the flexibility, chromatic diversity, and material quality that are typical of the company’s products.

Two outdoor kitchens of Officine Gullo have been chosen by two hotels in Tuscany, owned by the prestigious Belmond group: Villa San Michele in the Florentine hills and Castello di Casole in the province of Siena. The brand’s outdoor kitchens feature the use of top-quality AISI 316 stainless steel characterized by the excellent ability to resist corrosion. This material, which features a low ferrous content, offers unequaled durability, absolute resistance to corrosion, and an elegant design that brings out the very best in any decorative setting.

At Villa San Michele, the matt beige kitchen (RAL 1019) with satin chrome finish has been installed. It is a linear cooker with a pizza oven and lava stone barbecue, as well as two parallel islands. The first island is dedicated to food prep and washing, while the second one includes a chilled display counter for meat and fish. All kitchen worktops are made of Antolini quartzite. Officine Gullo also created two trolleys for Villa San Michele, one for making cocktails and the other for serving cheese at the restaurant tables. Two compact, versatile pieces, created by combining hard-wearing materials and clever design to achieve appealing, practical results.

At Castello di Casole, Officine Gullo has created an outdoor kitchen in gloss Pearl White (RAL 1013) with brushed chrome finishes, consisting of three elements: a kitchen with barbecue and pizza oven, an island with sink, induction plates and pasta cooker and a steel-topped prep counter. «We chose Officine Gullo for its great history, unmistakable aesthetics, and its practical use. The idea was to create a genuine poolside restaurant, seeking a classic style that is deeply rooted in Tuscan traditions and at the same time, “on the cutting edge”» says Luca Corsini, Food & Beverage Manager at Castello di Casole.
