Boffi|DePadova has inaugurated a new showroom in Paris: a 900-sqm space, previously home to the Kenzo fashion brand, set inside a stylish apartment laid out over two floors. In this location, Boffi displays its integrated offer of bathroom, wardrobe, and kitchen systems, together with the architecturally-oriented ADL partition systems, and connective elements.

The mood continues with furnishings and lighting from De Padova, like the EVERYDAY LIFE collection designed by Paul Smith and the Raffles project, which was revisited in collaboration with Society Limonta. In addition, there are the quintessential minimalist patterns of Scandinavian design as seen in the R.I.G. system from MA/U Studio and the multifaceted Japanese design manufacturing from Time & Style ēdition.

The Interior Business Event imm cologne will take place in January 2024 over five days from Sunday, 14 January, to Thursday, 18 January, at Koelnmesse’s trade fair grounds in Cologne. After the enforced break due to the pandemic and the imm Spring Edition in June 2023, Germany’s biggest interior trade fair will return to its established January dates from 2024 onwards to launch the new interior design year.

Even if exhibitors and visitors are already looking forward to imm cologne’s return to its usual dates in one year’s time, the organisers are currently focused on fine-tuning the concept for the imm Spring Edition. In just under five months, the special edition of the Interior Business Event will open its doors.

Boffi|DePadova strengthens its presence in the Australian market with the opening of the new Boffi|DePadova Studio Sydney showroom. The location chosen for the new display is the stylish and cultural area of Surry Hills, with its thriving creative scene and eclectic energy.

The showromm has a surface of 373mq, where the juxtaposition of the classic exterior and industrial interior complement each other and create a theatrical backdrop for the Boffi and ADL interior systems, along with De Padova’s furniture and lighting icons.

The location features wide windows that allow the passage of natural light, while also engaging the passersby to experience a subtle taste of the Boffi|DePadova’s way of living.

Another step to the internationalization has been made by Boffi and De Padova, the two famous Italian brands of kitchen and furnishing that at the and of the last year opened a new showroom in Spain. This time, the choice has been the capital, Madrid, second locations for the two companies in the Iberian region, after the opening of another showroom in Barcelona.
The location in Madrid is an industrial-inspired space of 160-sqm, featuring a variety of interior scenes where the most creative and exclusive proposals from Boffi, De Padova, MA / U Studio and ADL combine together.
Located on Calle Jorge Juan 43, in the heart of the Salamanca district in Madrid, the space was designed by the Style Department of Boffi | De Padova in order to serve as a benchmark for architects, interior designers and design aficionados.
With this new opening in Madrid, Boffi | De Padova consolidates its presence in Spain and confirms its position as a reference in the design of high quality collections for every area of the home.

The Sophie hood, model of the Falmec Circle.Tech collection, is now available in the Sophie Lamp version, a true decorative suspension lamp. Lighting is, in fact, an important theme for Falmec that designs solutions with a careful eye on the relationship between light, design and functionality. Like the hood, Sophie Lamp is made of painted steel and encloses a 4200K LED light source in the tempered glass cover for a pleasant atmosphere that embraces the environment with its natural light.
Sophie Lamp is available in two different diameters, 54 cm and 22 cm, to be chosen according to the needs. In addition to the classic black and white shades, the lamp can be requested in pewter, anthracite, antique copper and antique brass finishes for new combinations.
Alone, in a configuration of several elements or coordinated with the Sophie hood, Sophie Lamp ensures an aesthetic effect of great impact in the kitchen and living room. The Android radiator, born from the creativity of Daniel Libeskind and the design experience of Antrax IT, was awarded with the Muuuz International Award 2017 (MIAW), organized by ArchiDesignClub, the first French community of architects and experts of design in collaboration with Muuuz, the reference magazine for architecture and design.
Android is a radiator made with 100% recyclable aluminum, designed to ensure high thermal efficiency while at the same time offering a remarkable energy saving. The operation that requires very little water is guaranteed by a special circuit, obtained by an assembly system patented by the Italian company, which allows the entry into operation in a very short time, with considerable energy savings. Android can be customized in over 200 color variations and can be installed both vertically and horizontally so that it can respond to the most sophisticated aesthetic and functional needs of the space in which it is inserted.

Antrax IT, Italian brand of design heating systems and radiators, has been chosen for Penthouse One-11, a luxury apartment designed and built as sample by Milan Contract District in the residences designed by Zaha Hadid. In this elegant penthouse of more than 300 square meters some of the best interior décor brands have been involved to create a very sophisticated living experience, with high quality services and tailored solutions. Antrax IT interprets this new and ambitious project of interior design by responding with its refined heating systems to the sophisticated aesthetic and functional needs of Penthouse One-11. For the project the Italian company supplied its Series T and Tavola radiators becoming distinctive elements in the architecture of the space, able not only to heath but also to enhance the environments. The T Series radiators are iconic models designed by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, while Tavola is an heating element with a minimal and geometrical look designed by Andrea Crosetta.

Foscarini will take part with its own booth (n E26-External Hall) at the Asiatic edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano in Shanghai – which will be held from 19 to 21 November 2016 at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre. The Italian company, famous manufacturing of design light solution will be present with a space designed by Ferruccio Laviani which aims to express the personality of Foscarini collection. The company’s participation to this new event confirms its growing interest on the Asian market, on which the society has been working for several years with increasing incisiveness and an articulated strategy.

Nimbus goes on creating sophisticated wireless lighting solution, lamps that are not connected with wires to ensure freedom of use and many different possibilities of installation. After the launch of Roxanne Fly and Roxanne Leggera CL, the range of Nimbus mobile lamps expands with Winglet CL and Gravity CL. Born from a project by Rupert Kopp, they are inspired by the ultra-thin structure of smartphones and PC tablet.

Winglet CL is particularly ideal in the living areas, while Gravity CL can be placed as pendant in the ceiling to create a personal lighting solution for example for a dining table or a desk. Both are secured with a magnetic mount to the wall or ceiling and can be managed from anywhere in the room through a wireless control system.

Ethimo is the Official Supplier of the House Italy (Casa Italia), headquarters of Italy during the 2016 Olympic Games, that will be held from 5 to 21 August in Rio de Janeiro. It is a special space, placed on the ocean, within the historic Costa Brava Clube, which stands on an island connected to the mainland by a long bridge. An ambitious project, which aims to be an expression of the Made in Italy, appreciated style throughout the world: from food to design, from art to fashion. House Italy aims to enhance the Country, presenting to an international audience a concept including sport, art, culture, furniture, kitchen and welcoming, without any hierarchy. This space will be inaugurated on August 3, with the presence of the Italian Prime Minister, Matteo Renzi. Ethimo was selected to express what Italy offers in the field of design dedicated to the outdoors.
